What's Next from L.J. Green: A New Historical Thriller, Series News, and the Chrono Mystery Guild

A New Story Is Coming: Rain Ignited

I am thrilled to announce that I am writing a brand new historical thriller for the First Coast Romance Writers spring anthology. The story is called Rain Ignited, and it is unlike anything I have written before. This one leans into passion, betrayal, strength, trust, and transformation. It is sensual, it is layered, and it has been a wonderful creative challenge.

The beautiful cover is being created by the incredibly talented Lia Davis of Glowing Moon Designs, who also brought Pinevale Intrigue to life visually. I cannot wait to see what she creates for this one.

Here are the key dates to put on your calendar:

• Pre-Order opens: May 5, 2026
• Publication date: May 19, 2026

The Chrono Mystery Guild Newsletter: A Fresh Start

I have some news about the newsletter as well. I have discontinued the Substack version of the Chrono Mystery Guild and have moved to a simpler, more direct format. You can now sign up using a Google Form, and I will be sending out a quarterly newsletter packed with good things.
